Recommended reading
There are now many excellent books on the riders seat - these are my current favourites:
Centered Riding Sally Swift (now deceased) started the seat revolution with her first book  This book and many other Centered Riding resources are available at: www.centeredriding.org
Balance in Movement - How to achieve the perfect seat Susanne Von Dietze (2005)  Trafalgar Square Publishing. I have read this book several times and get lots out of it each time I read it.
Simplify your Riding - Step by step techniques to improve your riding skills Wendy Murdoch (2004). This is a great book for riders. Wendy, the author, is a past student of the legendary Sally Swift (who also highly recommended the book and wrote the foreword).
