Articles

Confidence in riding - Jane Myers - added December 2009

Independent Seat article - Jane Myers- published in Hoofbeats Magazine - added January 2010

Recommended reading list

Sally Swift (now deceased) started the seat revolution with her first book Centered Riding. This book and many other Centered Riding resources are available at: www.centeredriding.org

Susanne Von Dietze (2005) Balance in Movement - How to achieve the perfect seat Trafalgar Square Publishing. I have read this book several times and gets lots out of it each time I read it.

Wendy Murdoch (2004) Simplify your Riding - Step by step techniques to improve your riding skills I have read this book several times now and I get more information from it each time I read it. I can highly recommend this book to those of you that grapple with the subject of improving your seat, balance and posture. Wendy, the author, is a past student of the legendary Sally Swift (who also highly recommended the book and wrote the foreword).
