Photo galleries
This page contains links to our photo galleries. Whenever we visit somewhere interesting we put together a photo gallery. Subjects will vary widely. So far we have:
Yeguada De La Cartuja (Spanish Horse Stud - Jerez, Spain) 2011 - One of the most important and traditional Spanish Horse studs in the world. A great place to visit and a photographers paradise. If you are ever travelling Southern Spain (Andalusia) it is a must see.
The Donkey Sanctuary 2011 - The Donkey Sanctuary is a UK based charity working worldwide to improve conditions for donkeys and mules. The Donkey Sanctuary takes care of and provides permanent security anywhere in the world for donkeys and mules which are in need of attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances, ill-usage or other like causes and the prevention of cruelty and suffering among donkeys and mules.
The Konik ponies at Wicken Fen in Norfolk 2011 (UK) - part of a 100 year ‘vision’ to recreate fen land using ponies and cattle. This conservation grazing project is a fabulous example of what can be achieved and how important good land management is.
New forest ponies and other grazing animals 2011 - The New Forest (Hampshire UK) has been ‘common land’ for centuries and various animals have ‘managed’ the grasslands, wetlands, heathlands and woodlands creating a unique area in the South of England.
Dartmoor Ponies and the Dartmoor Pony Heritage Trust 2011 - Dartmoor ponies and other grazing animals have grazed the wild Dartmoor hills in Devon for all of recorded history. With minimal human intervention these ponies live in a stunning but harsh environment.
Appleby horse fair 2010 A traditional gypsy horse fair in the UK that has been going on for hundreds of years. This fair is a photographers dream due to the combination of stunning surroundings and thousands of mainly piebald and skewbald coloured horses.
